<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Choose this option to select the entry from the entries already existing in the current document.</help:help-text> An entry within the document can be the same as an entry in the bibliography database. The entry in the document has priority.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">When saving a document with bibliography entries, all information belonging to the entries will automatically be saved in a hidden field. In this way, all data will be included when you distribute the document, for example, on a disk. It does not matter whether the bibliography was created in the document or not.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Select the short name from the bibliography database or from the entries in the current document.</help:help-text></p>

<p class="Paragraph">The author and title of the selected short name are displayed here as long as they are already known in the bibliography database or in the current document.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Click here to insert the reference into the text.</help:help-text> If you redefined a record using the <span class="T1">New</span> button, you must also insert it as an entry. If you don't, the record gets lost when closing the document.</p>

You can define a new record here which will be saved in the document as long as you also insert an entry for this record.</help:help-text> If you wish to create a new record in the bibliography database, go to the menu commands <span class="T1">Edit - Bibliography Database</span>.</p>
